Pilates is the true foundation to my life in every capacity. From the moment I wake up, to the time I go to sleep. The air I breathe is Pilates.

When I look back on how Pilates changed me, I notice how I have been the strongest version of myself. As someone who has been an active person all my life and has done trial and error from all workout routines and gyms all over the area…

My Pilates routine has been the only routine where I have been able to obtain my true physical health goals. Where I saw the true work with Pilates was through my mental health. My anxiety and stress levels have never been more regulated in my entire life since making Pilates a daily practice. My breathing habits and nervous system have never been more regulated. This is why Pilates is a core foundation to my life and why I have dedicated my life to this practice.

When people come to my classes, they can expect a welcoming experience full of laughter and joy.

Every single class is focused on breath work paired to challenging and humbling Pilates choreography. My goal for you is to come into class feeling stronger in your mind and in your body. To feel more connected to yourself. To leave class saying to yourself, “hell yeah, I did that.” And knowing that you can take what you learned in class into your daily life. You will move

better, you will feel better. Start learning to trust your mind and trust your body in a class with me!

Outside of Pilates… I’m usually doing more

Pilates!! I am a licensed mental health therapist and still see some clients outside of the Pilates studio. Currently, I am training for a Hyrox in September. I am a proud cat mom and love spending time with my husband, Alec, who also loves taking classes at the GOODBODY studio. My new skill is learning to Golf (any tips recommended, help me please! Lol). I enjoy watching true crime, and I am currently watching The Sopranos.

Why you love Pilates and how it helped you: I started Pilates in 2021 when I was looking for a workout I could stay consistent at and actually enjoyed showing up to do. After my first class, I was hooked. I played sports all my life, where the faster you moved, the better you were. So Pilates was a challenge to me to really slow down and feel how my breathing impacted my movement. Pilates has helped me learn how to be more intentional with my movement and grow stronger not only physically but mentally

What people can expect from your classes and how they should feel from your classes: People can expect to be challenged in my class, but also have fun! I want people to leave feeling like they’ve completed a hard workout, pushed themselves but also are excited to come back and see the progress they make over time!

Outside of classes what do you enjoy: Outside of teaching and taking classes, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs (Penny & Leia). I’m also usually in the middle of a house project (or 5) because I love redecorating our home with thrift finds!

I love Pilates because it’s a great way to decompress from the day, disconnect from life, and really focus on your movement. It has improved my form in all of my workouts, not just Pilates itself.

In my classes, I like to stay rooted in classical Pilates while incorporating modern twists. I want each class to feel challenging, but also energizing and good for both the body and mind.

Outside of class, I enjoy reading thrillers, trying new restaurants, and watching reality tv.

Coming from a background in dance and cheer, Pilates was a natural fit. The more I learned about breath, control, and precision, the deeper I fell in love with the practice. Moving with intention and connecting breath to movement improved my mobility, confidence, and focus in my daily life. Pilates brings you into the present, and when you’re focused on breath and movement, there isn’t room for anything else.

My classes are supportive and challenging with a strong focus on form and intentional movement. I want every client to feel comfortable in the room while also leaving knowing they worked hard. My goal is for people to walk out feeling strong, accomplished, and confident in their body and what it can do.

Outside of teaching, I’m still very much a student myself. My time outside of Pilates is spent with my three dogs and two lizards. I love to thrift, keep up with pop culture, and try new skincare products and treatments.
